Hi, I’m Fayz and this is where you learn a little about me!
I’ve always had a passion for fitness and sports, starting off with Cricket, which I played to youth county level until a back injury forced me to quit, so instead of continuing to spend my Sundays playing cricket in the warm weather and strolling around the outfield of a cricket pitch waiting for lunch so I could have some tuna sandwiches I decided it would be a better idea to eat lots of chicken, lift weights and get punched in the head by taking up weight training, followed by Boxing…..so much for taking the easy route! It hasn’t all been plain sailing, as you can see from my before and after pic below, but it has been a journey I have never regretted and have enjoyed every step of the way, there are few things in life better than a good work out and reaching a long hard earned goal!
During my years in the gym I realised I had an equal passion for helping others get into shape. Nothing makes me happier than to see people I have helped, show progress with their fitness goals and with their health, and so it started, Fayz Fitness was born with my first client being the cousin of a friend. I believe that everyone, male, female, young and old has the right to develop their bodies and learn self defence for their own confidence and health, and it is a goal of mine to help as many people as possible realize this dream.
Fast forward to now, I have made the big leap from IT consultant to Personal Trainer and I am a Team Hatton Elite Level Boxing Trainer(recognised by the British Board of Boxing Control) and not being content with that, looking to always improve the skills I can pass on to others, I am currently training with another former champion and Sky Sports Ringside Analyst – Spencer Oliver, someone with a wealth of experience in professional Boxing and has seen it all. To add to it I am a KBT Level 2 Strength and Conditioning Coach and I have also practiced the art of Panantukan, Filipino Boxing, also known as Dirty Boxing or Boxing for the Streets.
So that’s me in a nutshell and I look forward to helping you reach your goals, whether it is Weight Training, Weight Loss or Boxing, I am confident I can make a difference in your life.
