In this boxing how to video I go over hooking off the jab.
There is more than one way to hook off the jab and here I take a look at using the right hand feint to set up the hook off the jab. Use this move to open up your opponent, the feint is used for the intention of drawing a reaction from your opponent as they will be expecting the cross after the jab. By feinting the cross you also allow yourself to engage increased hip rotation, which of course helps increase the power on the ensuing hook.
You can then mix up how you throw this combination by getting a little more creative. Once you have thrown the jab, feint, hook, you can follow up with the cross, or you can feint the jab and then throw the hook and cross.
