Super Featherweight Boxer Super Youssef Khoumari visited the Fayz Boxcast to discuss his career in Boxing.
I first met Youssef in the Boxing gym of Don Charles in Mill Hill, London. At the time I was early on in my path to becoming a Boxing coach, training with former European Champion and Sky Sports Boxing analyst, Spencer Oliver.
Youssef I believe was just 19 at the time and had just turned pro, he was training in the gym with his coach Xavier Miller and Miller is still his coach to this day, guiding Youssef to a successful career in Boxing with plenty more to come.
Youssef is a quiet and humble guy as he was back when I first met him but he has a strong work ethic and an equally strong mindset. Don’t let the quiet demeanour fool you, Youssef has a mean streak and loves to fight!
In this interview we discuss his Boxing from the very beginning. From his start in the amateur ranks and then to the pros where he had to hustle to sell tickets for his fights to becoming a Matchroom fighter training alongside Heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte.
Super Youssef’s story is one of grit and determination, he didn’t have the hype around him when beginning his career as a young man entering the pro ranks but his hard work combined with his mental strength and Boxing skills means he is forging for himself a name in the pro ranks.
